With regards to our post yesterday, we’re not the best organised band ever… I think there’s a couple of shows that we missed off of this list.
11th December - @ Escobar, Leeds.
Pretty sure we were meant to play then. Anyway… who wants to buy us a calendar? Or become our manager?
This is more for us than it is for anyone else:
Sept 30th - The Fenton, Leeds
Oct 3rd - The Well, Leeds (with Static Radio NJ)
Oct 21st - The Fenton, Leeds (with Diet Pills)
and then Chester in November or something? Fuck knows.
Adventures ought to be compulsory. We just had one in Liverpool and it was a lot of fun. Granted, our set was cut off half way due to the ignorant and narrow minded staff who owned the venue (which was frustrating for us and the other bands who had travelled to not even play) but there were good times had as well.
Squeezing five of us in one hotel room was a fun mission. Getting blazed and watching Good Will Hunting was nice. Having a delicious breakfast at Pea and Moon was nearly worth the entire trip!
All in all, a fun couple of days. People like those folk who run Barcelona Bar, however, are a threat to heavy music. If they don’t appreciate it then fine, but they shouldn’t be given the power to shut down a gig.
We press on.
Might have woken up drunk. Lets do this. Liverpool, we’re commin’ for you in an hour and a half.
